POLICY

ENTRY + ADMISSION

By purchasing a ticket or entering the venue, you agree to be bound by this Entry & Admission Policy. District 1 reserves the right to refuse admission or eject any person at any time, at our sole discretion, including for reasons listed below.

Age & Identification

  • All attendees must present valid photo identification (passport, valid national ID, or driver’s licence) showing full legal name and date of birth.
  • Entry is restricted to persons aged 20 + (or the legal minimum age for the venue/region). Anyone appearing under age, without valid ID, or whose ID is suspected to be altered or false may be refused entry.
  • The management reserves the right to request further proof of age and/or to refuse admission if the proof is unsatisfactory.

Dress Code & Behaviour

  • The management reserves the right to refuse service or entry to anyone whose clothing is deemed inappropriate, offensive, or likely to cause discomfort to other guests.
  • We expect respectful behaviour to fellow guests, staff and security. Aggressive, abusive or discriminatory behaviour will not be tolerated.
  • The venue and District 1 reserves the right to refuse admission or eject any person whose conduct is, in the opinion of management or security, likely to disturb the peace or safety of other guests.

3. Prohibited Items & Searches

  • For the safety and comfort of all guests, the following items are strictly prohibited from the venue:
    • Illegal drugs, controlled substances, or any items used for drug-taking or preparation
    • Weapons of any kind (including firearms, knives, pepper spray, tasers, stun guns, etc.)
    • Alcohol brought from outside the venue
    • Unsealed containers of food or drink (unless expressly permitted)
    • Large bags/backpacks (may be subject to search or may be refused entry)
  • Entry is subject to search (including bag checks, pat-downs or metal detectors) by authorised security personnel.
  • Refusal to comply with search requests or security procedures may result in denial of entry or ejection without refund.

4. Alcohol & Substance Policy

  • The service and consumption of alcohol at the venue is subject to local laws and the venue’s operating licence.
  • Do not attend if you are obviously intoxicated, under the influence of any prohibited substance, or in possession of such a substance. The management reserves the right to refuse entry or remove you from the venue under these circumstances.
  • District 1 and the venue have a zerotolerance stance on illegal drug use. Suspected possession, use, or distribution of illegal substances may lead to immediate ejection and notification of authorities.

5. Right of Refusal & General Admission Conditions

  • The management of District 1 and the venue reserve the right to refuse entry to any person, at any time, for any reason, including but not limited to: violation of this policy; obvious or suspected drug use; intoxication; possession of prohibited items; inappropriate behaviour; failure to follow instructions by staff or security; dress code violations; or any other reason deemed reasonable by management.
  • Entry may be refused even if you hold a valid ticket. Tickets may be cancelled at management’s discretion without refund if these conditions are not met.
  • Venue capacity is limited. Admission may be denied or delayed if the venue has reached its safe capacity or if the event conditions require it.

6. Refunds & Re-Admission

  • Tickets are non-refundable unless explicitly stated otherwise at the time of purchase.
  • Once admitted, re-entry (leaving and returning) may not be allowed unless otherwise specified by management, or the event is operating a wristband or stamp policy.
  • If you are refused entry or ejected for cause (as per this policy), no refund or compensation will be offered.

7. Health & Safety

  • By entering the venue, you certify that you are in good health and free from contagious conditions that could pose a risk to others.
  • The venue may implement health and safety checks, procedures or rules (eg. for illness outbreaks, local regulations, venue-specific policies), and you must comply with them. Failure to comply may result in refusal of entry or ejection.

8. Photographs & Video Recording

  • The venue and District 1 may conduct professional photo, video or audio recording during the event. By entering, you consent to being filmed or photographed, and you grant District 1 the right to use such material for promotional or documentation purposes without compensation.
  • Personal, professional or large-scale recording equipment may be prohibited unless pre-approved by management.

9. Amendments & Interpretation

  • This policy may be amended from time to time at the discretion of District 1 or the venue.
  • All decisions about admission, refusal, ejection or enforcement of this policy are final and at the sole discretion of District 1 management or authorised venue staff.
  • The headings in this policy are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.

By attending a District 1 event, you agree to abide by this Entry & Admission Policy.
